Since 2012, the CAES department of Forestry and Horticulture, including myself, have hosted the Connecticut-FFA Forestry Career Development Day at Lockwood Farm in Hamden, CT. Students from State FFA Chapters participate in an examination that tests their general knowledge of forestry and the forest.
