I am a PhD candidate at the University of Connecticut's Natural Resources Department. I concurrently work at the Center for Vector Biology and Zoonotic Diseases at the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station as a wildlife research technician. My research focus is on trophic casacades and disease ecology as they pertain to northeastern wildlife and Lyme disease.

MY LATEST RESEARCH

Outside Magazine published an article about The Rise of the Tick featuring our work with Japanese barberry and blacklegged ticks. It describes a day in the woods during our field season and the implications our research has on Lyme disease.

Global Health Frontiers Program through PBS recently debuted an episode about  the ecological dynamics of Lyme disease. The research my colleagues and I conduct at CAES are featured in this video!
